Amitabh Bachchan to Divya Agarwal-Varun Sood: TV celebs shoot from their homes for these shows during lockdown

The lockdown has given birth to many new shows from the confines of celebrity homes. One could have never thought, that celebrities will be shooting from their own homes with no camera, makeup or production units at help. A look at a few new shows that have challenged the lockdown and are entertaining audiences with fresh concept.

The new season of the popular quiz show is going digital with the entire selection process. The 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati is keeping host Amitabh Bachchan busy. The actor shot a promo on the same from his home announcing the selection process.

Reality TV couple Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood are going to come up with a brand new TV show. The show is named Ace the Quarantine and the couple is going to host it. It is one of its kind reality show, where Divya and Varun will be playing pranks and giving tasks to contestants and they will be judged via public voting. Speaking to ETimes TV exclusively, Divya shared, “Varun and I will be hosting the show from our home. Right now, we have shot some and it has gone to the channel for editing. The show will air in one or two weeks.”

Comedian Bharti Singh and her screenwriter husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa have conceptualised and created a show called "Hum Tum Aur Quarantine", an on-air series of gags. Bharti says she and her husband have divided roles and responsibilities for the shooting of the show, and they are working in sync to deliver entertainment to viewers amidst this lockdown.

A new show, titled "Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein... With Alia", is made at home during the lockdown. The show is hosted by "Tera Kya Hoga Alia" fame actress Anusha Mishra along with Balraj Syal, the show will witness several artistes coming together to entertain viewers, as they try out challenging tasks.

India’s longest-running adventure reality show has created history with the first-ever LIVE auditions on social media. Within a week of the virtual launch, Roadies LIVE auditions with host Rannvijay Singha and the celebrity leaders Neha Dhupia, Nikhil Chinapa, Raftaar and Prince Narula became widely popular amongst the audience. Each week, the gang leaders come online by turn and host live auditions with contestants.

This is a unique 6-part series where the best from the world of rap will come together to jam from their homes. This series will bring the best of hip-hop for the audience and offer a musical treat.
