Adrija Roy: Doing a daily soap, can get hectic, and this trip felt like a trip of a lifetime
Actor Adrija Roy, currently seen in Anupamaa, recently took a break from her busy shooting schedule to unwind in the scenic beauty of Kashmir with her fiancé, Vignuesh Iyer.
From the tranquil waters of Dal Lake to experiencing fresh snowfall, the trip turned into a much-needed escape for the actor. Sharing glimpses on social media, Adrija gave fans a peek into her peaceful and rejuvenating holiday amid snow-capped mountains and lush landscapes.
“I have always wanted to visit Kashmir, but it was always in the planning stage. This is the first time it went beyond that; I guess Kashmir wanted me to visit with the best company by my side,” she said.
Opening up about the timing of the trip, she added, “Doing a daily soap, struggling with the schedule can get hectic, and this trip truly felt like a trip of a lifetime. The mountains, the greenery, and the snow are a reminder to pause and appreciate what we have.”
The getaway also doubled as a special moment for the couple. “It was a very refreshing trip, especially since Vignuesh and I didn’t get to go on a holiday post our engagement. It felt like a post-engagement-moon, and it was much needed for both of us,” she shared.
A highlight of the trip was visiting Dal Lake, which had long been on her bucket list. “I was so inspired by Kashmir Ki Kali. I dressed up in Kashmiri attire and had my ‘Bumbro’ moment. Dal Lake would have been a waste without it,” she said with a smile.
