Aashiqui completes 30 years; Anu Aggarwal reveals Mahesh Bhatt refused to do the film without her on the The Kapil Sharma Show

As Aashiqui completes 30 years, the lead star cast of the show, Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show as special guests. The trio got nostalgic as host Kapil took them down the memory lane

In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Aashiqui actor, Rahul Roy starts the show by singing a song from his film. Kapil later announces, the superhit movie Aashiqui has completed thirty years.

He welcomes Aashiqui actress, Anu Aggarwal on the show. Rahul Roy recalls how the audience showed their love for him and the film Aashiqui when it was released. Anu also shares her similar experience about fans and how she gained fame from the movie.

The Aashiqui actors reveal how they met director Mahesh Bhatt. Host Kapil welcomes actor-director Deepak Tijori , who also played a part in the movie Aashiqui as Rahul’s friend. Kapil interacts with the audience as they share their stories of receiving and sending love letters.

Sapna (Krushna Abhishek ) enters the stage wearing a similar dress that Anuji wore in Aashiqui movie. Sapna tells Rahul and Anu that their Aashiqui was appreciated but when couples on bandstand recreate the Aashiqui scene the police beats them. This leaves audience and the stars in splits of laughter. Sapna asks Deepak what is the rent for ‘tijori’ and jokes about Deepak’s surname being Tijori.

Chandu (Chandan Prabhakar) enters the stage dressed like Rahul’s character from the film Aashiqui. Chandu sings a song from Aashiqui for Sapna and flirts with her. Later, he leaves the stage.

Sapna elaborates on the different kinds of massages she provides in her Sapna beauty parlour. Deepak praises Krushna (Sapna) for his acting and talent, and says he is proud of him. Actor Rahul reveals that he was offered the lead role in Darr which was later played by Shah Rukh Khan as he turned down the offer because of his busy schedule. Kapil reads out some rumours and the actors confirm and deny some of them. Kapil entertains the audience and the guests by singing a song from Aashiqui.

Kammo bua (Bharti Singh) enters the stage. Bua and Rahul recreate the famous jacket scene from the film. Kammo bua talks about how the girls went crazy for Rahul after the movie Aashiqui. Bua asks Anu Agarwal to teach her yoga. Bua flirts with Deepak and then leaves the stage. Host Kapil thanks the Aashiqui actors for coming on the show as they are about to leave.
