Here’s a good news for all the fans of Dada! He is ready with a brand new season of ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’. Right before, Durga Puja, the former Captain of Indian Cricket Team and Kolkata’s Maharaj, is coming back to Bengali television. The Sourav Ganguly hosted non-fiction game show is set for its launch on October 6.
10th season of Dadagiri
This is Dadagiri Unlimited’s 10
th season. The show had its very first season in 2009 which was an instant hit, prompting the makers to launch back-to-back seasons. ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ enjoys a different fan base for different reasons. Right from interesting rounds in the game, Dada’s googlies in the form of questions that not only examine the general knowledge, intelligence and promptness, participants who appear on the show to the host himself; ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ has its own charm that heavily contributed to its popularity. The show enjoys a massive fan following which is evident in the TRPs. Despite being a weekend show, ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ not only outshines other non-fiction shows (aired in the weekends just like the Sourav Hosted show) but also the soap operas which run 7-days a week.
Dada is back!
Ever since the news of Dadagiri Unlimited’s new season came to light, viewers and Dada’s fans have been eager to know about its launch. Dada, who sported a different look last year, will be seen in a brand new avatar. Unlike his usual clean-shaven look, Sourav will be seen sporting a bearded look this season. From holding guitar and lip-syncing with romantic songs, dancing with wife Dona Ganguly to showcasing his culinary skills, viewers have discovered a completely different side of their beloved Dada, who used to rule 22-yards. And the much-awaited season promises to have some special surprise for the audiences in store, as well. Dada is going to cast a spell yet again on the audience with his charismatic presence, smile and witty replies.
