Mohul
and
Roddur
continue their argument in front of their family members. Mohul feels bad when Roddur says she shouldn’t perform in the show which doesn’t have an audience that matches their class. He also tells Mohul shouldn’t perform just for the sake of his treatment.
Mohul informs that she has already signed the contract. Roddur’s elder uncle didn’t she ask. Barshan and Nilanjan tell her that she should have discussed the matter before making any commitment. None of the family members support Mohul’s decision. Roddur asks her to cancel the show but she refuses to do it.
Next day, Mohul gets ready. Roddur notices her and asks where she is going. She informs him about her show.
Roddur gets angry and asks Mohul to not attend such shows. Roddur suggests, their family pride will get affected if she performs there. Mohul tries her best to convince Roddur but the latter isn’t ready to let her perform. The couple gets into an argument. Roddur makes it very clear that he will not use Mohul’s money for his treatment.
He asks her to concentrate on her life rather than taking care of an ailing person, who might not survive for long. Such a comment leaves Mohul hurt.
Mohul tries to explain their financial condition. She tells Aniruddha, Barshan,
Nilanjana
can’t bear the treatment which is expensive. She too needs to do her bit for Roddur’s well being.
Roddur blames himself for dragging Mohul into a life which she doesn’t deserve. He thinks Mohul is a talented girl and she is forced to perform in such shows only to save him. He decides to behave badly with Mohul so that she maintains a distance from him. An ailing Roddur doesn’t want Mohul to be attached to him and undergo the pain if he loses the battle against cancer.
