starrer ‘Krishnakoli’. It is a hit Bengali daily soap and has been remade in other languages as well.
The very first glimpse of ‘Uma’ caught the attention of the Bengali audience with its interesting storyline. The show will narrate the journey of Uma, who dreams to be a cricketer. But she is from a financially backward family and sells ‘Bori’ to earn a living. Neel, on the other hand, will essay the role of a modern and educated guy. He belongs to a rich and influential joint family.

Interestingly, Nibedita also plays a meaty role in Neel’s ‘Krishnakoli’. She plays Neel’s reel mom in the show. The makers have assured that ‘Krishnakoli’ will not conclude its journey soon. They have been introducing back-to-back twists in the storyline to spice up the episodes. Neel’s appearance on the show however has become limited in the recent past as he got busy with the shooting for his new show.
