Reality TV shows have played the role of a stepping stone for many popular celebrities - be it Hollywood or Bollywood. Emma Stone, Lucy Hale, Jennifer Hudson and many others were a part of reality shows before living their Hollywood dreams. Reality shows helped Ayushmann Khurrana, Rannvijay Singha, Neha Kakkar, Monali Thakur and many others to make big in their respective fields. Bengali television industry isn’t an exception. Joey stepped into the showbiz with stunt-based Hindi reality show 'Exhaust'. At that time, he was doing a blue-collar job in Mumbai. Following the success of the reality show, Joey worked as a video jockey and featured in a few other reality shows. Rubel is a passionate dancer. Before stepping into the showbiz as an actor, Rubel had a successful career as a dancer-choreographer. Dance reality show ‘Dance Bangla Dance’ earned him huge fame after he bagged the title. Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty was the judge and Rubel’s flawless dance moves, dedication and passion won his heart. Rubel has been a part of many television serials and did films, too. Aranya participated in the show ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ hosted by Sourav Ganguly in a special episode for kids. That marked his TV debut as well. Soon, he did a few other roles before playing the titular role in ‘Joy Baba Lokenath’. The child actor left the audience impressed with his acting skills. No wonder the show was an instant hit.

Oindrila started her career quite young. She was a participant of Dance Bangla dance Junior. The actress has all grown up and has been a part of many television shows. Dance Bangla Dance Junior made child artist Raktim a household name overnight. He was later seen hosting the show, too. The success helped him to bag the titular role in ‘Gopal Bhar’.
