Bengali small screen industry has a number of artists who won viewers’ hearts with their performances. Be it family drama or period pieces, these artists have proved their acting brilliance many a time. A few of them even essayed larger-than-life characters with equal ease. For example, Abhishek Bose, who mostly played a romantic hero in daily soaps, left viewers mesmerized by playing Netaji on-screen. Mostly seen playing romantic hero in Bengali television shows, Abhishek’s performance as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is worth a mention. With his dedication and hard work, the actor won the hearts of Bengali audience. He worked hard on his mannerism, dialogue delivery, and also had to bid goodbye to his hair. Not only that, every time, his hair grew back, Abhishek shaves himself prior to going to the shoot, till the show was on-air.
