Actor Rudrajit's father Dipak Mukherjee passes away

lost his father Dipak Mukherjee today (June 17). He has been hospitalised for quite some time and was critical, too. Talking about his father's condition,

said, “Baba was not keeping well for the last one month. He had some kidney –related ailments and was under treatment. Last month, he had a stroke and was hospitalised immediately. Later, we brought him from Purulia to Durgapur for better treatment. He started responding to the treatment, too. He was a fighter and continued to battle for the past one month but left us for the heavenly abode today morning.”

Condolence messages are pouring in as his co-stars, friends from the industry, and fans are paying homage to the departed soul.

Rudrajit is currently in Durgapur and will go back to his native place in Purulia where his father’s last rites will be performed.
