Actor Bhaswar Chatterjee goes down the memory lane; shares a major throwback pic from ‘Janmabhoomi’ days

Bhaswar Chatterjee is one of the most sought after actors of the Bengali entertainment industry. The versatile actor has played different roles on television and films.

Bhaswar, who is presently busy with ‘Prothoma Kadambini’, went down the memory lane as he shared a major throwback photo from his ‘Janmabhoomi’ days.

Bhaswar along with Joyjit Banerjee, Suman Banerjee and other unit members of ‘Janmabhoomi’, had once gone to a tea estate to shoot a special sequence of the show. All three of them were quite young then.

Bhaswar is flooded with fond memories associated with the show. ‘Janmabhoomi’, which is considered to be one of the iconic shows on Bengali television which featured many seasoned actors. Bhaswar, Suman, Joyjit all have become quite popular and carved their niche in this entertainment industry.

‘Janmabhoomi’, which ran over 5 years, was a trendsetter back then and one of the longest-running mega serials too. Aired on Doordarshan, the show had late actor Santu Mukherjee, Rupa Ganguly, Mamata Sankar and many other veteran artists.

Bhaswar is presently busy with Solanki Roy and Honey Bafna starrer ‘Prothoma Kadambini’. He bagged the show soon after ‘Joy Baba Lokenath’ ended on television. Bhaswar played the titular role and proved his acting skills yet again. In ‘Prothoma Kadambini’, he plays a doctor.
