Abir Chatterjee-hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020 gears up for its grand premiere; here are some behind the scenes photos

The wait is almost over. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s stage is set to start its musical journey. There will be a fresh bunch of talented singers, a new addition to the panel of judges, jury members and a brand new host too. There will be musical performances, dance, fun-galore and much more in the premiering episodes which have already been shot. Here’s a glimpse….

The brand new season of the popular singing reality show will be hosted by none other than Tollywood heartthrob Abir Chatterjee. The actor himself is very much excited for the new beginning. Abir, who can make any girl go weak on their knees with his single glance, chose to wear a traditional ‘Dhuti Panjabi’ while lighting the lamp. He looked really handsome. This is his first stint as a host. The big smile on his face says how much is enjoying his new role…

Mika, who will be seen first time in a Bengali television show as a judge, set the stage on fire with his performance. He sang ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’. Mika's groovy song changed the environment and made everyone on the shooting set groove. Mika will be seen in his Bengali avatar wearing a kurta and trouser in the premiere episode.

Popular singer Akriti will be a part of the panel of judges. Akriti looked every bit gorgeous in a red designer saree and jewellery during the shoot. The lady in red took everyone on a musical extravaganza with her melodious voice. She left everyone surprised when she spoke in Bengali too.

This season of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is full of surprises it seems. Apart from the new host, the show will also welcome new judges- Joy Sarkar, Mika Singh and Akriti Kakar. Popular singer Srikanta Acharya, who was also there in the previous season, will grace the panel of judges too. Popular singers Monomoy, Raghav Chatterjee and Iman Chakraborty will be the jury members. Interestingly, this year, there will not be any audience due to the pandemic.

Well, the premiere episode will certainly be a gala occasion. There will be performances by Raghav, Iman, Joy, Monomoy and others. Participants of the previous season will sing beautiful songs and there will be a dance performance by young and passionate dancers too. The makers have left no stones unturned to make the evening memorable.

The previous seasons of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ has welcomed talented singers across the state and from the neighbouring country Bangladesh too. Ankita Bhattacharyya emerged as the winner of the previous season. This year, the stage will welcome passionate singers who eat, live and breathe music. They will musically challenge each other in the grand audition to enter the next round of the competition. The judges enjoyed the performances by the young singers.
