Pamucak Beach

BEACHES, TURKEY Updated : Jun 23, 2015, 12.42 PM IST

Pamucak Beach
A few areas of this beach are owned by large resorts built along it, but most of its sandy, sunny length is still open to the public. The waves are a constant, coming in off the Aegean, but they're not huge, just reliable, and instead of making for surfing conditions they churn up the water and make for challenging swimming conditions―rather than floating conditions. There's not much shade along this sandy stretch, but you can shelter and water under the cover of the local hotel at one end of the beach. The best way to get here is via minibus from Selçuk or Kusadasi.
