As per the reports, the Bermuda Tourism Authority has also confirmed that the time window for a traveller's pre-arrival test will likely be reduced from four days to two days ahead of arrival. However, travellers will be required to complete a ‘Travellers Authorisation’ form 24 to 48 hours before their trip.
As regarding the vaccinated travellers, the island recognises those as vaccinated who have received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine within six months of visiting or have received a booster dose.
Additionally, to facilitate travel of visitors, the Bermuda Tourism Authority assured that the island will provide return testing and schedule them automatically for travellers whose countries require it.
As of now, travellers who are 18 and older are required to provide proof of a negative PCR test taken within four days of arrival, or provide a negative antigen test report that has been taken within three days of arrival. Travellers are then required to undergo a PCR test at the airport upon arrival, and fill out an authorisation form within one to three days of their trip, apart from taking an antigen test on the fourth day of their stay.
