This butterfly-shaped island lies in Haitang Bay, 30 kilometres away from Sanya. Besides lush tropical vegetation, the island is popular with divers drawn to its clear waters and well-preserved and colourful coral reef. There’s a pretty white sand beach at the island’s northern end.
