Recognised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as one of the top 12 places for whale watching, Hermanus is where you will most commonly see the Southern right whale. The best time for whale watching is between July and September. Here at the Cliff Path you are guaranteed the best views.
Mirissa, Sri Lanka
Not just whales, but Mirissa is also home to dolphins. Here you can take part in Whale Watching Tours, and Ocean Safari. Mirissa also has luxury boats that you can book for this experience. The best time to visit is from November to April, and you have a chance to spot the large blue whales here.
