The famous rock climbing
While this is clearly not for everybody, the physically fit people out there must do it. Hampi is after all one of the best rock climbing destinations in the country. The massive boulders are certainly impressive; more so, when you learn that these rocks are supposedly 2.5 billion year old. These are considered to be one of the oldest geological formations on earth.
Go cycling
A great way to explore Hampi and its nearby areas is on a cycle. You can go on an epic cycle tour in Hampi and Badami, through a trail that will take you to some of the prettiest spots here. There are numerous old ruins to see here, and not to forget the beautiful landscape that you can appreciate. There are many other options when it comes to cycling here.

A novel experience, camping here can be something you would remember for a long time to come. Hampi is a great place to go camping as there are a few options you can choose from. You might have a cycling and camping experience together in this region, which certainly sounds like a lot more fun. There are other activities involved with camping as well, such as rock climbing, cliff jumping among others.
Visit the Monkey Temple
A much revered temple here, it is said to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. You can get a picturesque view of Hampi’s landscape from here, and enjoy the thrill of being on top. For those who are religiously inclined, this temple certainly has a special meaning. It takes a total of 575 steps to reach the top of this place, and is a great place to get a sunset view.
