More than a century old, this factory doubles up as an outlet as well. This is one of the first places in Mysore that started commercial production of its widely famous silk. While shopping here is a must, for it has an astounding variety of silk sarees and scarves at the cheapest possible prices, there is much more to it. You can also meet designers and loom workers, and watch the entire silk production process as well. A number of looms and other machines that were used in silk and fibre production almost a century back are also displayed in the factory.
