Navroz, also known as Nowruz or the Persian New Year, is an important festival of the Parsi community in India. It is usually celebrated on or around March 21, which marks the Spring Equinox. The festival marks the renewal and new beginnings, and is traditionally celebrated with feasting, prayer, and loads of special food!

The Parsis first came to Baroda in the late 19th century, and have played an important role in the city's history and development since then. The historic temple, known as the Fire Temple or Agiyari, is located in the Fatehpura area of the city and is dedicated to the Zoroastrian deity, Ahura Mazda. The temple is open to people of all faiths and is a must visit.

Udvada is a small coastal town located in the Valsad district of the Indian state of Gujarat. It is an important religious center for the Parsi community as it is home to the Iranshah Atash Behram, one of the most sacred fire temples in the Zoroastrian religion. The Iranshah Atash Behram is believed to be one of the oldest continuously burning fire temples in the world.
