You don’t have to be an astronaut to star gaze, just head away from the city lights and pollution to an isolated location. Nothing can replace looking at the dark night sky studded with millions of twinkling stars small-big, dull-bright, single or in clusters. Looking up in the sky at those distant twinkling marvels make me wonder about my tiny existence in this whole gamut of universe. You don’t have to go very far to see such a star studded sky. Just around 340 km away from Delhi there a place called Chakrata. I have found one of the best night skies there. And to my amazement I witnessed 2 falling stars there on the same night. It’s a small cantonment area with just a couple of places to stay. So next whenever you are tired of this bustling city life head to Chakrata and star gaze. The warmth that these little wonders emit will energize you.
