Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh (RSAP) is organising a three-day Rose festival in Vijayawada. J Nivas, Municipal Corporation Commissioner has ordered his officials to take all major steps required to make the Rose Garden in Gurunanak Nagar perfect for hosting the festival.
Mr. Nivas has also asked the officials to arrange various interesting cultural events and programmes. These events will be organised in the evenings for all three days for the entertainment of visitors. To make the venue visitor-friendly, temporary toilets and drinking water arrangement are being made.

After the necessary inspection, the engineering department officials are asked to clean all the bushes, and level the ground to make space for parking. Eminent people present during the time of inspection were Pradeep Kumar, Horticulture Officer, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and Thotakura Akilandeswari Rani, President, RSAP, among others.
The Rose Festival is the best time for nature enthusiasts to witness a wide variety of roses from across the country. Last year, Vijayawada hosted the festival wherein around 600 varieties of roses were put on display. The event was a huge hit among the locals, and visited by a large number of people. This year too, the fest is expected to attract people from all over.
