Shankarpur Beach, West Bengal
About 14 km away from the crowded shores of Digha, Shankarpur is a paradise for beach lovers. A virgin beach destination, it is also an important fishing harbour. The evenings are beautiful here, thanks to the enchanting cool breeze. The shacks and bars by the beach here make things a lot more interesting and enjoyable.

Rushikonda Beach, Andhra Pradesh

Chandrabhaga Beach, Odisha
Close to the Konark Temple in Odisha, this beautiful beach is known for the famous International Sand Art Festival. The best thing about this beach is that you can wander around aimlessly, and enjoy nature’s beauty. You can go to the many camps nearby where adventure water sports can be experienced. Here, in Chandrabhaga, a bonfire after sunset is the best way to end the day. The sound of the waves in the dark is especially romantic.

Chandipur Beach, Odisha
Located in the state’s Balasore district, Chandipur is a beautiful destination. It is not as crowded as Puri, so you can have a very personal experience. It is located about 16 km away from the Balasore Railway Station, and is unique in nature. It is a biodiversity hub, and is home to the horseshoe crab. The best time to visit the Chandipur Beach is from November to March. The sea here is known for its vanishing act, wherein the sea can be seen receding and then returning.
