Love during travel
You can find love anywhere, it can strike you at anytime. No matter how grave or absurd the situation is. Love doesn't seek answers, it merely poses a question. Travel is a good time to fall in love, especially when your destination is as romantic as Paris, Rome, or even the Taj Mahal. Here are some ways in which you can elevate your chances of falling in love during travels.
Experience your city
There are no two ways about this. You have to experience your city, and not be lost in your own world. The idea is to get into the thick of things, to manufacture a momentary bliss that revolves around new experiences. This is how you meet locals, fellow travellers, and make connections. Who knows how far that can go?
Find the right places
Don't go to overpriced tourist traps. They will only give you a sour taste and ruin your holiday. Try researching and finding out where the locals go. This is the right kind of place with the right mix of people. There is nothing better than having an authentic experience at the right place with locals. Imagine a local football pub in England!
Don't be in a regiment
Holidays are easy, they are meant to be taken lightly. If you are someone who likes to be in control of things, chances are that you will miss out on most authentic experiences. Being in a regiment, strictly following that slims your chances of finding love. Why? Because you are so busy trying to tick all the boxes in your itinerary that you are barely even noticing the good things that are around the corner.
Try new things
Good things come to those who are open to new experiences. That odd dish, a secret destination, or the least visited fort. All of these open new horizons, things that you probably didn't expect. New experiences always enrich your holidays, and leave you satisfied at the end of the day. Traveling the most outstanding cities and only seeing and doing what everyone else is seeing and doing is kind of passé.
Don't be obsessed with posting
Some people are hell bent on updating every minute of their holiday on social media. Or trying to do that trendy Insta challenge in front of a popular tourist attraction. These are the people who never meet new folks. Only if you could take the time to look around you, to let the social media frenzy go dormant for a few days, only then will you find love in a romantic new place. But of course, always keep in touch with your friends and family, you never know you might need them.
