Ever since it opened in 2006, 85 Landsdowne became the go-to address for the discerning Indian dresser. Stocking a long list of names in Indian fashion—Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Varun Bahl, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and Anamika Khanna to name a few—this multi-designer wear boutique store recently reopened on Park Street, after a fire broke out at the original outlet. The spanking new store has a brand new identity which is fresh and innovative. Designed and styled to resemble a loft (NYC-style), replete with columns, exposed beams and stark white walls. With a total of 40 designer labels, and services including customisation and designer appointments, this is definitely one of the most stylish retail spaces in the city.
