How to reach Kasol?
Train travellers can take a train from Delhi to Chandigarh. Alight from the train at Chandigarh and get aboard a HRTC bus bound for Kullu or Manali. All buses going towards Manali or Kullu make a pit stop at Bhuntar. So, inform the bus conductor beforehand to drop you at Bhuntar. From Bhutar, tourists need to take another bus or cab for Kasol.

Travelling by road
Taxis are available from Delhi for Kasol. The distance between the two destinations is about 565 km, and it takes 12 hours or so to reach Kasol. You can also contact one of the car rental agencies in Delhi to self-drive on this road trip.

For bus travellers
Several state transport buses ply from the ISBT-Kashmere Gate bus stand in Delhi on a daily basis. The best option is to take an overnight trip from Delhi to Bhuntar. A Volvo bus would typically charge INR 1000-1500. Get down at Bhuntar and take a HRTC bus to Kasol, which would take about an hour or more to reach the destination. If you are travelling from Chandigarh, it would take around eight hours to reach Kasol. A Volvo bus from Chandigarh will take you around 8 hours.

Travelling by air
Air trippers can take a flight from Delhi to Bhuntar, and then opt for a bus or cab ride to Kasol. Transport services are easily available at the Bhuntar airport. The best season to visit Kasol is between March and June, and between December and February. Tourist accommodations such as homestays, hotels and hostels are easily available for travellers with different budgets.
