A morning routine
Take some time off after waking up in the morning to do a bit of exercise. Whether it is yoga, or just simple burpees, you can achieve a lot if you can set aside 20 minutes each morning. All you need is a tiny space, which you should have in your hotel room. Moreover, if you love to swim, then you can swim in the hotel pool. Then you can go about your day, travel, explore, and more.
Walk and explore
The best way to explore any destination is on foot, and when you do this, you automatically burn calories. All those extra holiday weight that you might gain at a destination can be tackled by walking. Just carry some of your essentials in a backpack, and go out to explore. There is nothing like it.
Start your day with breakfast
The best way to start your day is by eating a big plate of breakfast. When travelling, there is always that hotel spread in the morning that we look forward to, and you would really help your body by fueling up on it. Eat a healthy breakfast so that you do not indulge in snacks too quickly. As the day progresses, have a good lunch, and explore local cuisine.
Select your food
See what you are eating. Do not be too strict on yourself, but at the same time, do not give in completely. The best way to eat your way around a holiday is to understand what you are eating. This way you will know when to stop, and what not to touch. A few extra drinks mean few extra calories, so in this case, you might want to order something healthy to eat instead of picking the fried food.
Hiking and trekking
Do some research, and find our whether there are hiking and trekking spots in your holiday destination. Most destinations would have such circuits, and often you will find options when it comes to the range of difficulty. Hiking and trekking are certainly two of the best ways to keep fit during your travels, and moreover, it is one of the best ways to explore a new destintion, and its natural wonders.
