Kangra Fort
Situated on the outskirts of Dharamshala, Kangra Fort is one of the oldest forts in India. It was built by the Royal Rajput family of the Katoch family from Katoch Dynasty of Kangra State. This fort has been invaded, conquered multiple times by different rulers of different dynasties and is worth visiting for its historical significance. sites.
Norbulingka Institute
Norbulingka Institute was founded in 1995. It is dedicated to the preservation of the Tibetan culture in its literary and artistic forms. Dal Lake

Kareri Lake
Kareri Lake, also located in Kangra district, is famous for its trekking trail. The lake usually remains frozen in the months- December to March. The summers are perfect to visit this lake in Dharamshala. Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake. Trek lovers should explore this lake, when in Dharamshala.
Indrahar Pass
It is a mountain pass in the Dhauladhar range, near Dharamshala. Indrahar pass forms the border between Kangra and Chamba districts. It is a trek which starts from Galu Devi Temple near Dharamkot village. This trek follows a tough route and is not recommended for people who find treks difficult.
