Pose next to Merlion
What Eiffel Tower is to Paris, this iconic structure is to Singapore. It has been the trademark symbol of Singapore since 1996, and till date, it stands tall at a prominent seaside location in Singapore’s Central Business district. A visit to Singapore will not be considered complete if you forget to pose in front of this 8.6 m high and 70-ton heavy statue. Its background is dotted with skyscrapers, whereas cafes and restaurants can be found surrounding the Merlion. Visit to this place is a must if you want to spend a relaxed evening.

Enjoy nature walks at Singapore Botanic Gardens
This spot is home to the National Orchid Garden, where you get to see the world’s beautiful and biggest display of tropical orchids. This spot makes it to the list for another reason, i.e., this Botanic Gardens open at 5 AM every morning. Point to be noted is that nothing opens before 11 AM in Singapore, and you can definitely spend your mornings here. Entry is free and this place remains open till midnight.

Enjoy light show at Marina Bay
If you are a tourist with a mission to not sped extra money, this activity comes to your rescue. As it goes without saying, doing anything at Marina Bay Sands will make a dent in your holiday budget; however, you can enjoy this iconic structure that towers over the bay by being a part of their spectacular light show. Spectra - A Light And Water Show is one of Asia's largest light and water shows, and will leave you impressed with its multi-coloured lasers, beamed from the top of the three towers. Best time to catch this light show is at the Event Plaza at Promenade is at 8 PM, 9 PM on weekdays, and then at 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Enjoy a shot break at Esplanade
Tourists on a budget will have a lot to experience here. Esplanade hosts plenty of free performances and shows that will give you a taste of their culture. Apart from this, it is also one of the most eye-catching buildings in Singapore. Dubbed as the Durian, the twin structures resemble the spiky tropical fruit, which is unique to this part of the world.

Discover Chinese folklore at Haw Par Villa
Originally known as the Tiger Balm Gardens, this spot is a flashy exhibit of a number of brightly-painted statues inspired by Chinese myth and legend. Another interesting thing to note about this place is that this area had been named after its wonders, who earned a fortune for selling the elixir, Tiger Balm.
