It is Calgary’s only paddlewheel boat experience, and hoping aboard one of these scenic cruises is a great way to ignite the romance or keep it going. The cruises are offered on Friday nights in July, and August, starting at 630pm, and running for approximately two hours each night. The S.S Moiye sets sail into the water where couples can enjoy views of the Rocky Mountains, and the Glenmore Reservoir. Guests on-board are treated to gourmet hor d’oeuvres, and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, while there are plenty more beer and wine to purchase on board. Some of the on-board delicious food includes, hand rolled maki, raman noodle boxes, deviled eggs, skewers and more. A live jazz band accompanies the guests on-board to create the perfect romantic setting. These cruises are definitely adult only, and are priced at $74 per person, but with food included. As the sun starts to set and the music fills your ears, it’s hard to imagine a more romantic experience than this in the city.
