​Ruins of Buddhist Monastery

Ongiin Khiid is a vast complex of two ruined Buddhist monasteries that is an incredible slice of history. The Bari Lam Khiid was built back in 1819, while the Khutaget Lam Khiid was built in 1760. The place had 17 temples in the northern side of the river back in the day, while the southern side had 11 temples. Additionally, there were four Buddhist universities here as well.

​Stay in a traditional Ger

Experience living like a Mongolian by renting a traditional tent in Mongolia. Whole families live in such tents, it is the traditional way of the country. Typically the right side of the Ger is reserved for women, while the left is for men, so be mindful of this when you do enter a Ger belonging to a family.

​Khövsgöl Nuur National Park

A very popular destination among tourists, the Khövsgöl Nuur National Park Save is home to the beautiful Blue Pearl of Mongolia, the largest freshwater lake of the country, called Khövsgöl Nuur. The best time to visit this national park is from June to September. You can stay here, so do book ahead of time so that you can get an accommodation.
