Mahe Beach
The beach, enveloped with swaying palm trees, offers respite from chaotic city life. The clear blue waters, green trees and peaceful ambience gives Mahe beach an edge over others. Though there are not many water sports, one can enjoy swimming and fishing. Also the beach lacks food options so make sure you carry your water bottle and some snacks.
Serenity Beach
The name says it all! This picturesque beach is noted for its stretch of white sand and blue waters. The beach is also perfect for surfers and both beginners and pro surfers can enjoy here. There’s also a surf school close to the beach.
Promenade Beach
Settled in the heart of Pondy, Promenade is among the finest beaches in the city with its 1.2 km long sandy stretch. The beach is surrounded with several beautiful and old colonial architectures which add to the overall experience. Evenings are amazing here offering memorable and relaxing sunset views.
Paradise Beach
One of the prettiest beaches in Pony, Paradise is a serene stretch of white sand offering solitude to peace seekers and nature lovers. Auroville Beach
Known for its crystal-clear waters, the Auroville Beach here is quite famous among people. The waves here are perfect for beginner and experienced surfers. The place remains crowded with families and kids as the water here is shallow making it safe for all. Try to avoid going on weekends as the beach gets uncomfortably crowded on Saturdays and Sundays.
