A beginner 5-day itinerary to Bali
Surrounded by the gorgeous blue waters of the Indian Ocean, Bali is one of most famous islands in the Indonesian archipelago. It is blessed with some spellbinding mountains, green rice terraces and ancient temples. The culture, traditions and a very interesting mix of cuisine, experiences, traveller-friendly practices makes Bali stand out and attract people from across the globe.

Day 1: Explore Nusa Dua and Uluwatu
On your first day in Bali, go explore the gorgeous resort region of Nusa Dua, which is only a 20-minute drive away from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. It is an awesome area for those visiting with families. This is also a place with immense scenic beauty.
Towards the second half of the day, you can head to Uluwatu. It is a beautiful town, noted for serene beaches, blue waters, and mighty cliffs. Spend the night here at a beachside property and don’t forget to explore the incredible Uluwatu Temple.
Day 2: Seminyak
On day two of your Bali trip, you can plan a day out exploring the Seminyak region, which is among the most developed towns on the island. It’s a trendy place with lots of pretty beaches and cultural sites. The place is also a hub for shoppers, surfers and party lovers!
Day 3: Canggu
After having your breakfast, head to Canggu which is a 40-minute drive from Seminyak. The village is extremely popular among tourists as it is a hub of trendy cafes, pretty-looking resorts and night bars. Some of the beaches here are simply outstanding. The increasing number of yoga studios has played a huge role in attracting solitude seekers and digital nomads here. The village is primarily famous for the nearby Tanah Lot Temple.
Day 4: Ubud
Reserve day four of your Bali trip for the pretty Ubud! After having a gala time on Bali‘s coast, Ubud comes as the spiritual and cultural heart of the island. The place has no dearth of Yoga studios, which are extremely popular. You’ll just love the countryside road trip that goes through picturesque rice paddies. On your way, you can stop to explore the incredible Tegenungan Waterfall.
Day 5: Continue exploring Ubud
Travellers can easily spend two days in Ubud as there’s a lot to see and explore in the region. Of course, your trip to Ubud won’t be complete without exploring the incredible rainforest and rice fields. Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Kehen Temple here are a must-visit.
