Likewise, this geographically rich country has the Himalayas, which boast of fascinating expanse that refuses to fade from popularity. Every year, tons of people trek across the Himalayan belt for varied reasons, adrenaline rush, peace, and even moksha.

Pin Parvati Pass
This one is a true stunner, and is labelled as difficult and challenging. This trail is adventurous and exciting as there are surprises at every turn. The very experience of seeing the tree line disappearing, replaced with a meadows of wildflowers is surreal. The trail which you will be hiking on for 10 days and traversing around 78 km, the mind-blowing transition of landscape will keep you enthralled throughout.
Beas Kund Trek
This trek is comparatively moderate and can be experienced by both amateurs and pro trekkers. This starts from Old Manali, and passes via villages that are totally cut from the modern world. As you progress, you will reach lush green meadows of Dundi and Solang Valley towards Beas Kund. It usually takes two days to complete this trek, and you can enjoy an overnight stay in a tent at Solang Valley.
Hampta Pass Trek
If you are a beginner, this trek is a good choice. However, since you need to go all the way up to 14000 ft, you will need apt preparation. This trek will leave you in awe with the variation throughout the trails. Scenic landscapes, adventurous crossing of the pass, open green meadows and pastures, make this expedition an exciting one.
Triund Trek
This is one of the most popular treks that you can take over a weekend from Delhi and Chandigarh. It is also perhaps one of the easiest Himalayan treks that you can do on your own. Snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and breath-taking views of the Kangra valley will leave you spell-bound during the journey. Since it’s a considerable easy trek, with easy accessibility from Mcleodganj and Dharamshala, you might face crowds during the weekends; as such, it is better to experience the trek during the weekdays.
Deo Tibba Base Camp
Also known as the Chota Chandratal trek, it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful treks in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh. The trail is home to diverse flora and fauna, and Mt. Deo Tibba is visible throughout the journey. The maximum altitude that you can reach during Deo Tibba is 14,698 ft. Best time to enjoy this trek is between May to October.
