The shrine which houses Baba's tomb was originally erected as a wada (large private house) during Baba's last years in his physical encasement. It is constructed on a piece of dumping ground land which Baba tended as a garden for three years using seeds he had brought from Rahata. The jasmine and marigolds that blossomed in the garden would be distributed by Baba to the local temples. The samadhi shrine, which still permeates powerful divine vibrations and silently communicates with the receptive and grief-stricken souls, was built by a wealthy devotee from Nagpur, Gopalrao Booty.
