Amazingly, this is one of the noteworthy boutique hotels, err, hostels in the upmarket city centre and close to the Nanjing Road. Closeness to the metro station, which connects directly to the airport and other shopping/eating out areas, is another plus point about this hostel that tourists often appreciate. It is housed in an old Shanghai apartment/office block with terrazzo tiled floors and brass banisters. The dorms are small, but are equipped with all the things needed for a comfortable stay - comfortable bed, large locker, toilet and hot shower. The dorms are also provided with complimentary WiFi connection, but works with a few interruptions in some rooms. The staff is social and speaks decent English which is a great help to international tourists. The nibbles served in-house are delicious. And if you are craving for a pint of beer, grab it on-site for some of the best prices in the city.
