There are a few things you should know about this quick bite eatery in Rome. First up, the location cannot be beaten, as it is located right near the Spanish Steps. Second, the price cannot be beaten, only 4 Euros for a plate of pasta and a drink. Third, your 4 Euros includes a glass of wine, which only some people know about as the wine is kept behind the counter. There is a little room to sit inside; unless you squeeze along the thin counter hooked on to the wall, but eating inside has its perks, such as the free glass of wine you can ask for. We should probably tell you, there is no name on the outside of the eatery, so just look for the long line coming out the door or ask a local, trust us they will know. There are two types of pasta available each day, sometimes one is a vegetarian option, but not always. The plates and cutlery are plastic but that doesn’t matter because the pasta is always amazing. If you choose to take it away, be aware of the laws of eating near monuments as they have sharpened up on them. Pasta, wine and all for 4 Euros, it doesn’t get much better than this.
