Since its inception in 1935, Café Goodluck has been serving value-for-money food in a functional, no frills ambience. The eatery, which dominates the busy intersection of Bhandarkar and Fergusson College roads, was perhaps the first garden restaurant in Pune with 40-odd tables. Now, Café Goodluck is patronised mostly by those who know what a good mutton masala and bun maska should be. The restaurant’s most popular dish is the bheja masala, best savoured with a cup of hot Irani tea. The chicken chilly fry, green chicken and tawa gosht green masala are some of the other winners on the menu.
