“Script your adventure” is the theme picked up by Karnataka Tourism Department for the year 2018 to focus on adventure tourism, and tap into the state’s potential of being “one state, many worlds.” The tourism department has been coming up with such concepts from last year; “Year of Wild” was the concept that it focussed on the previous year.

Minister of IT, BT, and Tourism, Priyank Kharge, further explained the theme by saying, “The idea behind ‘Script Your Adventure’ is to not only allow tourists to experience Karnataka by connecting to its rich history, people and culture, but also experience the wild side of life and sports in the state.”
This year’s theme “Script your adventure,” has been made keeping in mind the potential of the state and in terms of what the state has more to offer. In fact, the theme is targeted to those travel enthusiasts, who are least interested in just sightseeing aspect of tourism, but are inquisitive and eager to explore the raw part too. This year, adventure tourism will be the focus, and the travellers will be able to explore the state’s long coastline, forests of the Western Ghats, and large jungle tracks.
