Drinking around the world
Drinking is a great way to loosen things up when on a holiday. You want to visit the best of bars and pubs to get the best experiences. Every city around the world has something great to offer when it comes to drinking. There are stylish bars, speakeasies, expensive bars, and more. Here are the best places to get some drinks across the world.
Irish Pub, Nepal
It is one thing to grab a drink at an Irish pub outside of Ireland, and it is a whole other thing when the bar in question is dubbed as the highest Irish pub in the world. It is located in Namche Bazaar, high up in the Himalayan mountains. The pub is frequented by trekkers from across the world, and it is a stunning place to grab a drink. At the entrance of the pub, you will read a sign that says, “there are no strangers here, only friends who haven’t met.”
Rick’s Cafe, Jamaica
An amazing bar and restaurant, Rick’s Cafe is one the hottest spots in the town of Negril. You are basically on a cliff, with gorgeous views around. Grab a drink sometime before sunset and you can enjoy it while the sun goes down. Expect exceptional drinks and an even better vibe, this is what Jamaica is all about. Live the good life at the Rick’s Cafe in Jamaica.
La Noxe, New York
One of the hottest bars in New York City, this is a surprise for you. The bar is operating from a New York subway station, which is a unique setting. The bar is located at the bottom of a flight of stairs at the corner of 28th Street and Seventh Avenue. Nothing about this bar is ordinary, so we say that it is one of the best bar experiences you will ever get in your lifetime.
The Office, Chicago
Situated below The Aviary, a swanky cocktail lounge in Chicago, The Office is a stylish speakeasy that is one of the finest places to grab a drink in Chicago. The bar offers wonderful cocktails, and a menu that is some of the finest and most innovative. It is a place that has the look of a study, and it is small so you can imagine the intimate experience you are in for. But be warned, it is very hard to get a reservation here.
Bisou, Paris
There is nothing like it. Bisou is where you go when you are unsure of what you want to drink. The bar does not have any menu, it all depends on what you want to drink, and what the bartender decides to conjure. It is a small place, very romantic (much like most of Paris), and an amazing place for a good time. The place is mostly focussed on drinks, and discussing drinks and flavours is pretty much what you want to do here.
