Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park or KBR National Park also known as Chiran Fort or Chiran Palace is one of the most frequented tourist hotspots in Hyderabad. This great expanse of green is situated right in the middle of the city, in Jubilee Hills. The park is named after Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, the former Chief Minister. A green space just in the centre is like a fresh breeze of air where people come and relax amidst verdant greens. Read less
Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park or KBR National Park also known as Chiran Fort or Chiran Palace is one of the most frequented tourist hotspots in Hyderabad. This great expanse of green is situated right in the middle of the city, in Jubilee Hills. The park is named after Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, the former Chief Minister. A green space just in the centre is like a fresh breeze of air where people come and relax amidst verdant greens.
Inside, there is Chiran Palace that was built back in 1940. Sprawling over an area of 400 acre, the palace was a gift to Prince Mukarram Jah by his father Prince Azam Jah on his coronation ceremony in the year 1967. There are other structures too on site such as Mor bungalow on a hillock, place to keep elephants and horses, Gol Bungalow and motor khana too.
