For lavender lovers, the Farm Tomita in Japan presents a unique spectacle every spring.. Shrouded by symmetrical lavender flowerbeds, the farm is home to the four varieties of lavender – Kamurasaki, Yotei, Hanamoiwa, and the dark purple Noushihayazaki. The farm also boasts of vast tulip arrangements (among many other varieties of flowers), and attracts many nature-lovers throughout the year. The farm offers a perfect respite from urban Japan, and has a number of small cafes and shops that sell a wide variety of lavender products and souvenirs. July is the best month to witness the beautiful blooms here.
