NIGHTLIFE IN BRUSSELS

The essential drink in Brussels nightlife is beer, so be sure to try some of the greatest beers in the world. Typical beers in Brussels are Gueuze (sour), and kriek (sweet and cherry based) – keeping that in mind, head to town and hunt down the best bars and clubs. You have jazz bars, to techno clubs, or even Art Deco bars. In fact there are clubs for gays and lesbians as well, so it is a fairly exciting nightlife in the city. The city also has some upscale clubs where the elite come to let their hair loose, so if you have the big bucks, then go to a club like Jeux D'Hiver. There is a particularly special drink which is found in Brussels, and it goes by name, half-en-half, which translates to half and half. It is a mixture of white wine and champagne!
