Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department has now restarted its online registration system for tourism. According to reports, Sarmad Hafiz, the Tourism, Culture, Youth Services, and Sports Secretary, finally restarted the online service after clicking on the button, and giving the registration to two tourism unit holders. Jammu and Kashmir is one of the finest destinations to visit in the country, which is often referred to as Heaven on Earth.
The online registration is basically for a tourism unit holder, who can apply with the Department of Tourism in J&K for the registration of his or her unit. The registration is done under the J&K Tourist Trade Act, 1978/2011. All you have to do is log into the website, and submit the documents that are required as per the published checklist.
Upon completion of your registration, your documents will be vetted by the authorities. An inspection will follow, after which you will finally be issued the registration certificate.
The registration process is done in order to safeguard the interests of the tourists who are visiting the state. The registration wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is responsible for enforcing the provisions of this act. The registration process is done for travel units such as Travel Agencies, Dealers, and Hotels.
