IRCTC’s Nainital Special is perfect for that short break

IRCTC has come up with a special Nainital tour package that will take you to some of the best places in the region, including Kathgodam, Nainital, Mukteshwar, Bhimtal, and Sattal. Your mode of travel will be by train and road, and the journey starts every Thursday.
Here’s all you need to know about the itinerary of this tour package.

Day 1, Thursday: You will board the train no.15043 from Lucknow Junction (LJN) at 11:25 PM, it will be an overnight journey in the train.
Day 02, Friday: You arrive Kathgodam (KGM) at 8:10 AM, from where you will be transferred to a hotel in Nainital, which will take you around 1 hour to reach. Check-in to the hotel, freshen up, and get ready to visit tourist hotspots, such as the Lover’s Point, Cave Garden, Lake Viewpoint, and Khurpatal Lake Viewpoint. Spend the evening in leisure, have dinner, and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 03, Saturday: Have breakfast and head to Mukteshwar, which is situated approximately 51 km away, and will take around 2 hours to reach. Then, you get to visit Bhowali, Choli ki Jali, Ramgarh, Satbunga, Ghorakhal Temple and tea gardens. After all these sightseeing, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04, Sunday: Have breakfast, and then proceed to lake sightseeing like Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal. You can then spend the evening the way you want. Then, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05, Monday: After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel at 8 AM, and head toward Kathgodam to catch the train at 10:55 AM. You arrive in Lucknow at 7:25 PM, from where your tour will end.
