Redefining hospitality
We have all heard of unique hotels, as properties across the world try to bring in a unique USP for a pleasant stay. While some can be downright weird, others are not so. To be fair, most unique hotels are more or less the same. There are very few really extraordinary hotels that are worth the mention. One such category is the cave hotel. Have you heard of these?
Located in certain parts of the world, cave hotels take you back to the primitive times, but with all the comforts of modern living. Here are some cave hotels for you.
Kokopelli's Cave, United States
This beautiful hotel is carved into the vertical cliffs of Tertiary Ojo Alamo sandstone in Michigan. It might intimidate you as the entrance is facing the cliff. But once inside, you will find yourself comfortable. It is a man-made cave, and offers wonderful views of La Plata River Valley. You can also spot states such as New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. The cave comes with bathroom, living room, bedroom, and more.
Les Hautes Roches, France
The hermit experience, the hotel is set up in an erstwhile monastery. The hotel today is a glorious place that allows guests to experience an old-style hermit living, but again, with the modern amenities. Surrounded by nature's finest, the hotel is a historical place, and has immense cultural significance.
Cappadocia Cave Suites, Turkey
The entire region is dotted with caves, so yes you can expect a cave hotel here. Here you will be able to stay in what is known as fairy chimneys. You also have the Cappadocian Deluxe rooms that are incredibly charming. These are actually the original caves and homes of the Roman, Byzantine, and Hittite Periods. So amazing opportunity for history buffs.
Alexander's, Greece
Step into a world of style and elegance. This highly instagrammable hotel will take your breath away. Stay in cave suites, and experience panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, and you will certainly find yourself transported back to a different time. It certainly stands out from all the other hotel experiences that you might have possibly had.
