Surrounded by 1800 acres of tea gardens on all sides, this heritage bungalow in Coonoor has six rooms, each named after a speciality tea. Built in the 19th century, the mansion was used an international tea school and also served as the residence of several British aristocrats. All the rooms have a fireplace and attached rooms. Breakfast is complimentary, and the Tea Nest also serves a special vegetarian and non-vegetarian tea menu, which features inventive tea-infused dishes served over various courses. These include delicacies such as broken orange pekoe tea smoked chicken soup, grilled fish wrapped in garden tea leaves and chamomile tea custard.
