Delhi is famous for having the best street food scene in India. During winter time, the scene gets all the more better. Here are the places where you can find Delhi’s best snackables.
Shakarkand chaat
Come winters and almost every local market in Delhi sees the presence of a shakarkandi chaat vendor. It is sweet potato roasted on coal fires, their skin is peeled off later. The sweet potato is diced into pieces and seasoned with different spices and finally served with a dash of lemon.

Gajak
Gajak, rewari and gur-chikki are to be found everywhere in Delhi during winters, right from the humble street vendor to an established confectioner and even the local kirana store. There is nothing like all these delicious things to warm up during chilly winters. Try a glass of hot kesar-badam milk at a sweets shop in Delhi. It is the capital's favourite winter beverage, which is also served at the wedding during this season. The oldest confectioners offer the best kesar-badam milk.

Samosa-chaat
Both for breakfast or as an evening chai-time snack, samosa-chaat is always welcomed by every Delhiite. It is an irresistible snack, which is enjoyed piping hot during typical Delhi winters.

Gajar Halwa
There is no other place in India other than Delhi/NCR and Uttar Pradesh to eat perfect Gajar Halwa in winters. This is a common favourite during the colder months and best enjoyed hot off the plate. Gajar Halwa is prepared in Delhi’s homes but it can also be relished at the best confectionery in the business that have been selling this winter-special dessert since decades.
