Nopa

Nopa is a happening place, well-known in San Francisco. The high ceilings and exposed rafters transport visitors to a happy, communal country space for a full-service dining experience. Although difficult to get a table, Nopa tries its best to fit in everyone. You can reserve a table of call after 2 pm each day after checking if they have any space available. They have reserved tables as well as large communal tables for those popping by.
The menu consists of local produce, selected in its prime to offer delicate home-style dishes. Nopa describes itself as “specializing in organic wood-fired cuisine”. They serve simple, hearty meals highlighting the local produce and the depth the area has to offer.

Open for dinner all week, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday, Nopa’s menu has something for everyone. If you are visiting for brunch, we recommend the oven baked eggs with mushrooms, beans, horseradish and rye toast. And while you’re there why not spice it up with their special “Toast and Jam” cocktail with amontillado sherry, apricot liqueur.
For dinner, the menu steps it up with the hearty country vibe. Dishes usually include a succulent piece of meat or fish paired with a delicious array of seasonal vegetables. Items include duck with polenta, golden chanterelles, apple and currants, smoked brisket or a simple dish of fresh butter beans with feta and herbs.
