Run by two superb chefs with oodles of experience—Said and Dou Dou—Métis is one of beachside Bali's most chic addresses. Decked out in low white leather armchairs and candlelight, with a distinctly colonial setting to complement the French-Mediterranean cuisine, this stylish 350-seater is a Bali must. Favourites here include the snail-stuffed mushrooms and the foie gras which is the best you can find on the island. The menu has been recently expanded, and warrants experimentation.
