This beachy spot is a haven for Indian, Chinese, European, lots of seafood. Serving gourmet delights like the tandoori jumbo prawns served with salad and naan, paneer tikka and chicken tikka, tiger prawns, Chicken Malabari or Aloo Mutter fish wrapped in banana leaf and vegetable biryani, Malabar Cage has comfort cafe fare nailed. They dish out Malabar fish curry with lemon rice which seems to be a hit with European tourists all along the Kerala coast. Try the mojitos, dark run with soda and fresh lime. The service quality is appreciable, and it is better to reserve a table in advance at dinner to avoid the jam-packed space.
