With the name itself invoking feeling of piousness, a big metallic structure of Lord Ganesh at the entrance confirms the religious intent and inclination of the restaurant. It is the first restaurant in Bhubaneshwar to offer pure vegetarian North Indian cuisine without the use of onion and garlic. Followers of Jainism and some sects of Hinduism regard these two items as the cause of aggression and anxiety and refrain having food cooked with them. Since onion and garlic is an integral part of cooking and responsible for making the food flavoursome, it is challenging to prepare delicious dishes without them. Hare Krishna restaurant does this with elan. With plethora of vegetarian options gracing the menu, walls and pillars decorated with paintings of Gods and Goddesses and Anup Jalota bhajans in the background, this restaurant in Master Canteen square ticks all the boxes for a spiritual dine-out experience. Non-vegetarians may give it a skip!Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
